Constitution / By-Laws

The church constitution and bylaws are important documents that establish and confirm the church’s identity and purpose. In a 501(c)3 incorporated nonprofit organization, a constitution is a legal document that establishes the church’s legal compliance and provides guidance for church governance and declares the church’s statement of faith. Membership requires a copy of the candidate church’s constitution to ensure that the church is acceptable for acceptance into the fellowship of the member churches of the association.
